About Course
The Taharah Course for Kids by Dawat-e-Islami is a thoughtfully designed educational programme that introduces young learners to the foundational Islamic concept of cleanliness and purification. Aimed at developing good hygiene habits alongside spiritual awareness, this course teaches children the importance of both physical and inner purity through engaging and age-appropriate content. Children will learn the Islamic definition of Taharah and its significance in faith and worship. The course explores the various forms of purification, such as Wudu, Ghusl and Tayammum, alongside the correct methods for each. Students are taught how to distinguish between clean and impure substances, the proper way to clean impure clothes and rulings related to Musta’mal water, bleeding, etc. The course emphasises the strong connection between outward cleanliness and inward spiritual purity, showing how cleanliness reflects and reinforces faith. It highlights the scientific and health-related benefits of Islamic hygiene practices and helps children understand how purity affects their ability to read and touch the Holy Quran. With practical demonstrations and simplified rulings based on authentic Hadith, the Taharah Course for Kids not only prepares children for daily acts of worship but also instils in them a lifelong appreciation for Islamic cleanliness, responsibility and personal dignity.
